RESULT:

  • 37.7% increase in tuber yield thanks to MNG
  • It is possible to successfully grow potato in 100–110 days on sandy soils during winter season in the open field under drip fertigation 
  • Improvement in the water holding capacity of the soil and nutrient enrichment to the plant
  • Reduced loss of nutrients by leaching, soil fixation and volatilization. This ultimately increases the availability of nutrients at the point of absorption.
