From Seeds to Foods: MNG at the FAO Global Exhibition

Manaseer Natural Green (MNG) was honoured to take part in the First FAO Global Exhibition: From Seeds to Foods, held in Rome from 10–13 October 2025 - a milestone event bringing together global innovators, experts, and changemakers shaping the future of food and agriculture.

A Global Platform for Sustainable Innovation

The Seeds to Foods exhibition served as a powerful reminder of how interconnected people, cultures, and ecosystems are in building sustainable agrifood systems. For MNG, this mission resonates deeply. Across many regions, achieving sustainable food production begins with confronting the twin challenges of water scarcity and soil degradation - issues at the very heart of our work.

At our exhibition stand, we proudly presented Aquasave, our 100% natural, eco-friendly solution designed to enhance water retention, stabilize soil moisture, and support plant nutrition while preserving the environment’s natural balance. The enthusiasm and engagement from visitors and experts were inspiring, reinforcing our belief that nature-based innovation can lead the way toward a greener, more sustainable planet.

Shaping the Dialogue on Water Scarcity

One of the highlights of the event was seeing our Founder & Chief Science Officer, Viktor Sukau, participate in a panel discussion focused on one of agriculture’s most urgent global challenges: water scarcity.

Viktor emphasized that water-use efficiency begins beneath our feet. Through its unique ability to create mini water reservoirs within the soil, Aquasave helps retain moisture for longer periods, stabilize hydration, and foster healthier root systems. The result? Reduced irrigation needs, lower plant stress, and more resilient yields - achieved through harmony with nature.

Hearing experts across the panel align on the importance of soil-focused, nature-based innovation was a strong affirmation of our mission. As Viktor highlighted, addressing water challenges from the ground up is key to building stronger, more efficient food systems for the future.

Collaboration and Knowledge in Action

Beyond the panels, MNG’s participation was marked by dynamic engagement with fellow exhibitors, researchers, and agricultural leaders. Our live demonstrations drew considerable attention - particularly Viktor’s hands-on showcase of Aquasave’s absorption capabilities, where he poured water directly onto the granules to demonstrate how they expand up to 65 times their dry volume, forming natural moisture reservoirs that stabilize soil hydration and boost plant resilience.

We were especially honoured to welcome FAO Director-General QU Dongyu to our stand. His genuine interest in Aquasave and its potential to support water-efficient agricultural practices underscored the growing recognition of scalable, practical solutions to global water and soil challenges.

Growing Together Toward a Sustainable Future

The FAO Global Exhibition was more than an event — it was a celebration of shared purpose and innovation. Every conversation, demonstration, and collaboration reminded us that the path to sustainable agriculture is a collective journey.

At Manaseer Natural Green, we remain committed to advancing nature-based solutions that strengthen food systems from the ground up - from soil to yield, and from seeds to foods.
